Facilities

Clover Rod and Gun Club owns two real-estate properties. The "Trenton" Clubhouse is located on a large lot at 18 Dover Avenue in Ewing Township, Mercer County near the Trenton reservoir . This facility was the first Clover clubhouse. The land purchased and the clubhouse built by club members in the earlier 1950's. This facility is still owned by Clover and is used primarily for regular club meetings.

The principle facility and the heart of Clover activities is the clubhouse located in Kingwood township, Hunterdon County at 46 Lockatong Road on 400 plus acres of club owned and leased property. This 50 foot by 95 foot, one story building contains a large meeting or central room with fireplace; a modern, recently refurbish commercial kitchen. A spacious 20+ person capacity bed or bunk room and a male and female restroom. Outside is an attached covered charcoal cooking grill. Close by is our rebuilt roasting bar-b-que pit.

Out back behind the clubhouse is our trap house and trap field.
Nearby is our recently reconstructed covered 4 position 100 yard rifle range,
with sub-range positions at 25, 50, and 75 yards. Located on our Kingwood property about a half-mile away is the pens used to
hold and feed the pheasants used in our semi-wild bird stocking program. Also
located near the pens is the club’s one acre pond which the club stocks with
trout during the season. Nearby is the garage and barns to storage our tractors
and equipment essential in our framing programs. But our most important resource is the dedication of our club members to make
Clover the best Hunting and Fishing Club in the State.
